About Me

I hold a master’s degree and a doctorate in theatre from the University of Colorado Boulder. Since 2004, I have been a staff member at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, where I work as a dramaturg, educator, and arts administrator. Since 2011, I have overseen the Shakespeare & Violence Prevention Program (a collaboration between the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence). I enjoy thinking about the ways Shakespeare relates to our own time and place, and I continue to find new lessons in the plays about what it means to be human.
